3 Golden Fall Hikes to Do Before Winter in COLORado!

I love that golden hue everything has at all times in the fall. So fleeting!  Before winter rolls in, check out these perfect places to see the fall colors in Colorado. Hurry!

1. Deer Creek Canyon

The Mika Chicas took a day trip up to Deer Creek Canyon.  A little west from Red Rocks Amphitheater, this gem sits perfectly not too far from Denver. Perfect for a day trip or sunrise - we did both and it was worth it. Yummy gold goodness everywhere you turn.

2. Maroon Bells, Aspen

This should be on everyone's bucket list.  The pictures don't do it justice and they are still breath taking!  A short bus ride from downtown Aspen gets you to the trailhead.  Views on views, unbelievable colors and dogs are welcome! So dreamy.

3. Evergreen

Evergreen is a perfect spot for a day trip hike.  We checked out Maxwell Falls this time around and it was absolutely amazing.  Aspens EVERYWHERE. Plus the town of Evergreen is adorable and perfect for grabbing a bite & a beer.
